Question about Shampoos?

My hair is damaged and I’m trying to get it healthier. I’ve cut way back on styling products and almost never use a straightner, etc.

Most women would almost automatically refer you to Pantene. However, it’s a known fact that it’s not very good for your hair. Why? Two reasons:
1. The shampoo/conditioner does not fully penetrate the hair follicle.
2. Eventually leads to balding. (Usually premature.)

Since we don’t know the condition of your hair, you’re going to want to go to a hairstylist (probably the next time you get it cut or go in for whatever other treatment you normally go for) and ask her to analyze the condition of your hair and recommend you a brand of shampoo and conditioner. If you are short of cash, and you tell her/him that, they will try to find one within your budget.

Usually a hair analysis includes porosity, elasticity, scalp condition (flakes, etc) and so forth.
